Even as a plug-in hybrid, the RAV4 Prime doesn't compromise performance, especially with a 302-net horsepower. When fully charged in EV mode, it can motor for up to 979 kilometres on electricity even before the gas engine kicks in. Unlike the RAV4 Hybrid, the Prime's large-and-in-charge 18.1-kWh battery can be easily plugged in at any of the growing number of charging stations across BC – from empty to full in about an hour, depending on your charger. If you prefer going hybrid mode, you’ll still enjoy a fuel economy as low as 8.5 /6.8L/ 100 km (city/highway). Want more traction? Standard Electronic All-Wheel Drive coupled with Multi-Terrain Select will let you conquer the road less travelled with ease.
